Hi all, I often say we were so much better off without all this technology, computers, blackberries, IPads.. and the story goes forever, my kids just laugh at me and say ” mom, do you remember in the olden days” Well actually no I don’t! Spring Trade Show Fort McMurray

Hi All, Well I have been away to do my bi annual voyage to Fort McMurray, for those of you who have never been, I would definitely suggest it for a weekend get away, the town is very green and lush with trees, river and a whole lot of people. The oil sands is something everyone should see at least once. Its like being in a another world a very big one. So for those of you who don’t know what we do there, I show Fred’s photography and schedule his photo sessions when he will be there June 25 – 26th. I do have 3 spots left for those dates in Fort McMurray so if anyone is interested its $200. for portrait session and no traveling costs. Call me

Well its official, I am going back to Fort Mac. April 29th – May 01, hopefully the snow will be gone! We did the fall trade show last year and now that we know what we are doing, we’re (I should clarify, I am) going again. If you are in the area, please drop by, I will be at booth 280, Hall C.

We do a lot of different things, like photographing the very pregnant Genevieve, its exciting because we did their wedding 3 years ago and now they are pregnant with TWINS… guess what we will be doing in May?? I will keep you posted on their arrival.

Alberta Professional Photographers Association

I spent the weekend at our Alberta Professional Photographers Association conference, listening to a great wedding photographer from Manhattan, learning a ton of fun stuff, chatting with my peers and yes we did manage to sneak in time to have a little gala with yummy food and a few drinks. While the foundation of great portraiture remains the same, the window dressings are constantly changing and being reinvented at the blink of an eye, you have to keep moving forward or you will get left behind, never going to happen here.

Official photographer for woman of vision

For 9 years Fred has been the official photographer for Edmonton’s Women of Vision. If you are new to Alberta and have never heard of this, basically every month of the year a woman is honored for her extraordinary abilities. It may be that she has created a successful business or she may have used her special talents to improve our local communities. These 12 women are an inspiration to all who meet them and hear their stories. You can meet them at a Luncheon in their honor on March 18 at the Westin Hotel, this event sells out every year, if you dont have your ticket call 780 701 5451 or go to Edmonton Woman of Vision.
