My Love for Cabin Photography

As a photographer, I am often asked "do you always take your clients to the same place, or can you come to a place we love?" The answer to this question is simple! Wherever you want your photos works for me! (Though I am always willing to help make suggestions if you don't have a place picked out).

More specifically, there is nothing quite like photographing families at their cabins. There is something special about the cozy, relaxed atmosphere of a cabin that makes it the one of my personal favourite settings for family photos.

One of the things I love about photographing families at their cabins is the opportunity to capture the story of each family. Every cabin has its own unique story and I love to help tell it through photographic art.

Another thing I love about cabin photography is the beautiful natural surroundings like lakes, mountains, and our beautiful prairies. Cabins are often (if not always) located in stunning natural settings. This allows me to create truly unique and stunning photos that capture the beauty of the natural world.

In addition to the beautiful natural surroundings, cabins also provide a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that is perfect for family photos (often leading to very authentic photos). The relaxed and informal atmosphere of a cabin allows families to be themselves and to let their personalities shine through in the photos.

Ultimately, I love photographing families at their cabins because it allows me to capture the special bond between family members and the unique character of their loved second home. The beautiful natural surroundings and cozy atmosphere of a cabin provide the perfect setting for creating beautiful, timeless photos that families will treasure for years to come.
